1. Booking & Confirmation
Yes. Our tours are private, which means your group will not be shared with other travelers. The experience is reserved for you, your family, your friends, or your private group.
Choose your tour, select your date, enter your pickup details, and complete your reservation request. Once availability is confirmed, you will receive your booking confirmation with all service details.
Your tour is confirmed once availability and payment are completed. For last-minute reservations, availability may be limited and vehicle assignment depends on confirmation.
Yes. TripOwner is designed for travelers who want a more personal experience. Some tours allow flexible stops, timing adjustments, or private itinerary changes depending on distance, opening hours, and availability.
2. Pickup, Transportation & Service
We can pick you up at most hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, villas, and private addresses in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya, Tulum, and nearby areas, depending on the selected tour.
Yes. Most TripOwner tours include private round-trip transportation with hotel pickup and drop-off. Each tour page will clearly show what is included.
The vehicle depends on the number of passengers and the selected service. We may use private vans, SUVs, or similar vehicles with air conditioning.
No. TripOwner focuses on private experiences. Your tour is operated only for your group.
Yes. Our vehicles are equipped with air conditioning for a comfortable ride.
Most private tours include bottled water onboard. Please check the “What’s included” section on each tour page.
3. Tour Inclusions
Each tour page includes a detailed “What’s included” section. Depending on the tour, it may include private transportation, driver, bottled water, breakfast, cenote visit, archaeological site visit, or other listed items.
Items not listed under “What’s included” are not included. This may include entrance fees, meals, drinks, tips, ferry tickets, personal expenses, or certified guides unless clearly stated on the tour page.
Only when the tour page specifically says they are included. If entrance tickets are not listed as included, they must be paid separately by the customer.
Some tours include breakfast, such as selected archaeological and cenote tours. Please check the specific tour details before booking.
No. Tips are not included and are completely optional, but always appreciated when you receive great service.
4. Children, Families & Comfort
Yes. Many of our tours are ideal for families, couples, and private groups looking for a more comfortable and flexible experience.
Yes. Child seats may be requested in advance, subject to availability. Please mention the age of the child when booking.
Yes, but parents should consider walking distances, heat, stairs, and swimming areas. We recommend bringing comfortable shoes, sunscreen, hats, towels, and extra clothes.
5. Private Driver / Hourly Van Service
Yes. TripOwner offers private driver service in Cancun and Riviera Maya. This is ideal for shopping, restaurants, hotel visits, beach clubs, events, custom routes, or flexible plans.
Yes. The private driver service has a minimum rental time, which will be shown on the service page.
Extra hours may be available depending on the driver’s schedule and vehicle availability. Additional charges apply.
6. Changes, Cancellations & No-Show
Yes, but cancellation rules depend on how much notice is given before the service. Same-day cancellations are not allowed and are non-refundable.
No. Same-day cancellations are not refundable because vehicles, drivers, tickets, logistics, and schedules may already be assigned.
Changes are subject to availability and must be requested in advance. Last-minute changes may not always be possible.
No-shows are non-refundable. The driver and vehicle are reserved for your group, and operational costs are incurred even if the guest does not arrive.
Please contact us as soon as possible. Waiting time may be limited depending on the tour schedule, attraction opening hours, and driver availability.
Tours usually operate in normal rain conditions. If weather conditions make the tour unsafe or impossible, we will review the situation and offer the best available solution according to the circumstances.
7. Payments & Security
Yes. Advance payment is usually required to confirm your reservation and assign the vehicle, driver, and tour logistics.
Yes. Payments are processed through secure payment platforms. TripOwner does not store your full card information.
Some services may allow a balance payment in cash, but this must be approved in advance. A reservation is not fully guaranteed until payment terms are confirmed.
Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method. The time may vary depending on the bank or payment processor.
8. Recommendations Before the Tour
We recommend comfortable clothing, walking shoes, swimwear, towel, biodegradable sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, cash for personal expenses, and a charged phone.
Yes, we recommend bringing some cash for entrance fees, tips, souvenirs, lockers, life jackets, snacks, drinks, or personal expenses not included in the tour.
Luggage may be allowed depending on the vehicle and tour type. Please contact us before booking if you need to travel with luggage.
